Stratton has many community and volunteer organizations which help sponsor activities throughout the year.  Community celebrations and holiday events such as a community Easter egg hunt, a 4th of July fireworks display, Santa Claus coming to town, and a fall harvest festival are examples of these activities.  From gardening and softball to youth groups and community development, there's something here for everyone! 

The Stratton Community Foundation is an affiliated fund of the Nebraska Community Foundation, which provides affiliated fund status to communities, organizations and donors statewide.  This allows communities, such as Stratton, and other organizations to achieve non-profit status without forming their own non-profit corporations.  

The Stratton Community Foundation is dedicated to the improvement and long-term viability of the Stratton Community.  The fund is governed by an advisory committee that determines how donated funds are distributed in the community.  Donors may give unrestricted funds to the Foundation, or may choose to give toward a specific project.
